The Ensembles of the

Valley Collegium Musicum


The Valley Collegium Musicum serves as an umbrella organization for several early music ensembles.  Each November, these ensembles perform one concert together as a full ensemble. 


The Peartree Consort

  1. A Renaissance mixed consort: recorders, lutes, guitar, harpsichord, viola da gamba, dulcian, and more


Chamber choir

  1. 16-24 select singers that perform a cappella and mixed choral/instrumental repertoire 


Baroque Chamber Ensemble

  1. Baroque strings (violins, violas) with basso continuo (cello, harpsichord, bassoon, lutes, organ)


Cornett and Sackbut Ensemble

  1. Five-member historical brass ensemble
